Tessie Yuste

Tessie is CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner at the Lubitz Financial Group. Her primary focus is to assist families, business owners and executives to achieve their financial goals. She specializes in working with clients to plan for many of life’s transition such as a career change, retirement, divorce or the loss of a loved one. Tessie also provides investment advisory services for individuals, families, Pension Plan trustees and Endowment Funds. She is responsible for designing tax efficient portfolios and is the author of the firm’s investment Newsletter.

She has over 20 years of experience in senior executive roles in Fortune 100 companies. Tessie has an MBA from the University of Miami with a concentration in Finance and a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. She is also a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst™ and a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor. She will be receiving shortly her certificate as a Certified Professional Coach from the University of Miami to help clients produce fulfilling results in their personal and professional lives.

Tessie is on the Board of Directors of the Miami-Dade Financial Planning Association and committee chair of the Financial Alliance Council, an organization that provides financial education opportunities to military populations throughout Florida. She is also actively involved in educating military personnel at the U.S. Southern Command Center.

Michael Wood

Michael Wood assumed duties as the Chief of Transition Support Services at Army Headquarters Installation Management Command G9 for Family Programs in November 2008.

His portfolio includes management and oversight for Employment Readiness, Financial Readiness, Relocation Readiness, Army Emergency Relief, the Military Spouse Employment Program and he is Liaison to the American Red Cross.

After retiring from the Air Force, he began his civil service career in 2001. His background includes personal and Family finance, mental health counseling, acquisition, and force protection and antiterrorism training. He is a voting member on the Board of Directors with the Association for Financial Counseling and Planning Education representing the military constituency, and has been an Accredited Financial Counselor since 2002

In 2006 he assumed duties as a Community Life Specialist at Headquarters, Installation Management Command Europe. In this capacity he was responsible for the supervision and execution of the Financial Readiness, Army Emergency Relief, Relocation Readiness, and Military Family Life Consultant programs within the European theater. Before assuming his current position, he served as the Financial Readiness Program Manager and Army Community Service Director Hohenfels, Germany, and Army Community Service Director, Wiesbaden, Germany.

He received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from St. Leo University, and a Master of Science in Counseling and Psychology from Troy State University.

Ralph Sharp

Ralph Sharp spent 18 years in the financial services industry serving in capacities as a general securities principal and a division vice president. In these roles, he sought out methodologies and approaches that would promote individual and organizational high performance.

His interest in high performance led him to consulting, focusing on human dynamics, emotional intelligence, and behavioral preferences as they apply to team development and leadership. He has spent the past seven years providing organizational and operational development consulting to both public and private organizations. He has partnered with The Schutz Company to serve clients as diverse as NASA to Apple.

For the past four years Ralph has collaborated with The Strategic Organization on the Department of Army initiative ‘Army OneSource’ working with Community Support Coordinators and facilitating state alliance meetings across the country. A veteran of the United States Army, Ralph served in various roles on both active duty and the reserves from signal intelligence interceptor to division counterintelligence officer.

He has served as a guest lecturer at Texas A&M University and presented on various panels including the Board of Governors of The United States Federal Reserve. He holds a B.B.A in Finance from Texas State University.

Tina Mike

In her 30 year career w/ APGFCU Tina’s work has included Teller, Member Service Representative, Mortgage Loan Officer, Market Development Director, Education Director and now Assistant Vice President- Financial Education.

Tina is a member of many community education organizations including the Maryland Coalition for Financial Literacy, Harford County & MD Business Roundtables for Education, Cecil County Public Schools BEPAC Organization, National Youth Involvement Board, the Edgewood High School Academy of Finance and Greater Excellence in Education Foundation. She participated in defining the US Treasury Department Financial Literacy Education Commission’s National Strategy for Financial Literacy.

In February 2011, the Education Credit Union Council recognized Tina’s work with APGFCU’s Financial Education Department, by awarding them the ECUC inaugural Lifetime Achievement Award for work in personal financial literacy education. A Credit Union Development Educator (CUDE), since 2005 and a 2006 Athena award nominee, Tina works hard at the local, state and national levels to make FREE financial literacy education and resources available to every individual.

Brenda Linnington

Brenda Linnington is the Director, BBB Military Line®, a national program providing consumer education and advocacy for Service Members, DOD Civilians, Retirees, and their Families. She oversees a coordinated effort that works with DOD as a partner in the DOD Financial Readiness Campaign and fosters outreach from local BBBs to military communities across the United States. BBB Military Line is also an inaugural partner in the Joining Forces Initiative.

A U.S. Army Veteran, former finance officer, current active duty military spouse of more than 32 years, and mother of an Army Aviator, Brenda Linnington has significant experience working on numerous DOD military family programs including: U.S. Army’s Respite Child Care expansion project, U.S. Army’s Exceptional Family Member Respite Child Care Program, and the U.S. Army’s Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Program. She also served as a primary and secondary school counselor in school systems highly populated with military families.

Brenda Linnington is a 1981 graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY and has a Master’s degree in Education from Long Island University.

Dave Fielder

Major David Fielder is the employment director for the US Army's Chief of Staff's Soldier for Life Office.He was commissioned in 1996 completed his company command and field grade time in 1st Armored Division and the 82nd Airborne Division.

He's deployed as part of the Implementation, later the Stabilization Force, in Bosnia-Herzegovina.As a Captain he commanded a company in the 82nd Airborne Division for the invasion into Iraq and has two deployments to Afghanistan, the first as a battalion operations officer in the 82nd Airborne Division and later as the Aide-de-Camp to the Commander NATO Training Mission-Afghanistan.

His awards include the Bronze Star with 2 Oak Leaf Clusters, Ranger Tab and Senior Parachutist Badge. He holds a BS in Biology and Masters in Business and Organizational Management.

Dale Dixon

Dale Dixon is an Idaho native and lives with his wife and two children in Meridian. Dale’s communication skills, newsroom and organizational management experience are at work for Better Business Bureau serving the Snake River Region. He was named President/CEO of the organization in December 2007.

Dale has 25-years of broadcast news and media communication experience working in radio and for CBS, ABC, & NBC-TV affiliates. Dale is regular contributor to daily newspapers, appears on TV and radio several times each week and speaks to live audiences about personal development, business ethics and protecting your money from scams.

Dale is an Associated Press and Idaho Press Club award winner, Better Business Bureau Integrity Counts! Honoree and was named an Idaho Business Review Accomplished Under 40 recipient. Dale also serves in these organizations; City Club of Boise, Twiga Foundation board of directors, Caldwell Economic Development Council board of directors.
